What features would other users like to see implimented in future SF Image releases?

I for one really miss an Autofocus option when alighning a satellite, to lock onto the best and strongest signal. Is this an impossiblity with the Dreambox?

Sorry guys, I'm not requesting new features, but only requesting existing features working in this wonderful and unique image !!

- What would be really nice, is to make working the timeshifting ! Is that a problem of the image or a problem from emus ?? (that's definitively not an hardware problem) I know I already posted something related to it but it does not seem interesting people so much . If you need help I could put my fingers into it !

- What would be nice is also to be able to see the images of your channel while playing games or while watching TXT like in original image

Since no one else apparently has a wishlist of features they would like to see in a future SF Image - I will add another of mine!

Is direct deleting of a channel a possibility using the remote. DreamBoxEdit is a wonderful programme, but ......

How about being able to record in steps:
30m:1hour:1.5 hour and so on.

when in the timer menu, you can use volume up/down to change starting time, and bouquet up/down to change recordings ending time,quite easily

I wish you add the ability to record audio only.

That's my point I do not want to go through timer for quick record for 30 minutes. On my old Hyundai if I press the red button it starts recording at once and pops up a menu for me to select 30,60,90 or 120 minutes. Nice and quick.

It would be nice to be able to use the txt tv on the televisjon.
I have been told that the DB dosent forward the txt tv signal.

I have a Matrix reloaded.

It just doesn't work on the with version 1.05 but it does work like a charm under 1.06 (original team version) [ the db seems to have problems synchronizing with it and thus, the keys are impossible to change through the common interface GUI of the dreambox]

The lastest SF version I have (sf_img_1409.img) tells me it's running on 1.05.

I'm waiting the 1.06 .

It seems that the Matrix reloaded conflicts with the emus of the dreambox, but I am hoping to be able to have it work when no emu is selected, as an alternate for cases where the db doesn't do a good job on the channel I wish to view.

Timeshift is dependent of the EMU you use. In the latest Ronald image it works with the SCAM EMU. I cannot try this in the latest jirka because there the pause button doesnt work dureing recording.

one nice feature would be to "cut to the end of movie" or "cut from beginning of movie" when you review a movie...
with that you could get more space and directly destroy ads and unwanted programs from your movie.

New Fetures i would like to see..

1. When you set up a timer recording can the DB pick up the program name when it starts recording?

2. Is it possible to place a indicator on the DB LCD that a recording is taking place, Eg. ?

3. Is it possible to place a indicator of how much record time or HD space is left on the LCD while the recording is taking place?

4. The ability to use the web interface to enter a program list for the DB to switch to weeks in advance or repetitvly

5. How long before the Web interface is compleet to enable the programing of channels to record, I love the idea of accesing the DB remotly, that will ROCK.

6. when pressing the Red button on remote to bring up EPG is it possible to display all programs current and next in tabular format . simmilar to how pace displayed the EPG?

Cut_r2000 i asume you like the layout of the EPG.

I made those images in photoshop of what i think the EPG should look like, the PACE Boxes that Foxtel used in Australia had a similar layout, there now old and dont work any more.

also another feture on the Pace boxes was that you could also select one of the programs to Auto change to when the Program starts.

If anybody likes the layout i created or any of the other ideas i have, please post your Support, saying if you like it or not.

I have the SF 1409 image instaled on my DB, i think its an Excellent Image, and i would like to see SF image implement my idea in one of there future Images.
