works just fine.
For sure you use nedkelly (read RU images)

? Which are bad images ? Which do images make sfteam image unstable on my box? I am interesting in the answer.

Wat is bad and wat is goed.
Bad is that you and other trying to make
Jirkas nice work black.
Goed is Jirkas image.
But if you mixup goed with bad you make goed
not goed any more.
So try Jirkas image without other files from other
images and tell as wat you think about this image.

Jirka's images are very good , I agree. But sometimes a problem can occured. This fix in previous post is a not for fun but for fixing something.

The facts are facts. If I am writing:
- very unstable , shutdown in many operations
this is my and my friends observation , not "trying to make Jirkas nice work black". If noone will report about errors author will not know about it or will thinking - noone is using it and is a sense to continue my work?

Next , if you will use ready setting, you will have to use files from other images in your images. More, if you have hdd or usb and you add addons, you will have many files from over version of soft in your current soft.

The problem is in registry and I understand it. The additional security options have to be stored in this file and it makes old register files not compatible.

I think it is good time to move registry file from it's subdirectory to other place - if it is only file which can not be shared between firmwares.




Jirka, maybe you will answer this time, why did not you add possibility to use evo and newcamd with your soft ?

I run firmares, set xcamd emu and set chanel from 30W. I changed 3 chanels and dreambox auto shutdowned. It repeated second time too and it was end of my testing.

I have common enigma directory for all firmwares in my external flash. All are able to use all files, including register , except this yours version, and if I good remember xcamfirmware with only xcamd and german hans firmware with only newcamd. I am not sure if it is hans , maybe blackpearl?

Is not a emu authors way?
The other way, newcamd lets to share seca cards with dreambox, dbox2, mediasat pioneer, philips and each receiver with aston cam ci. All with help from p2p application over the ethernet and internet .
The only problem with newcamd - is - I do not know if is it working with nagra from 30W.

The second evocamd is now only emu without problems with all hacked scrambling systems.

Has there been any improvement with the sharing of of Premiere World S01/K01 Cards ?

Last thing i heard sharing was only possible (using Radegast) with an S02/K02 Card - does anybody know if there has been any improvement on this?

Hi,

I've testet it yesterday and I found some small Problems:

1. If I load external settings to the box, the box shutdown if I select a service which is not available.For example, I load settings for 5°,13°,19° and 30°W but I only have LNB's for 13° and 19° and I switch to a service on 30W the box shutdown.

2. If I put "RuDream"- skin in the box, the box shutdown and never boots up again.

3. I tried to share via radegast with my second box, but it failed.So far I've seen the version in my second box ist 2.2SE ( NedKelly ) and in SF-image it is "2.2_10pre4". It seems that they are not compatible. I get always connection error.

4. Please explain me how to edit the tuxmail.conf to use the mail feature.

On the other hand, the image works fine. Updates are working perfect and channel switching is fast.

Looking forward for fixes.

Hi,

I am always happy with SF images.
In my case I installed it on USB stick and suffered similar things like Tom0000. As far as I ONLY use the own SF 7.12 configurations (setting up motorpositions, channel scans, addons, etc. everything works fine). As soon as I try to introduce data from other images (settings, registry, ec.) the image breaks.

Now we know thanks to JirkaS statement, that this image has been created more for sharing than for emu-standard uses. This explains also why on the downloadable menu is the "emu for 7.12" and the other emu.

Perhaps JirkaS or any author from other images should indicate in their images (inside the title or a small readme) these particularities. This may be would help us always out of doubts.

In relaton to Tom0000 statement I am sure that there is a good will behind and a try to explain the observed difficulties. So please do not missunderstand him. As we can see in his postings he has knowledge and lot of enthuiasm to try things. Many other people just suck the files and do not ask or help.
