Hi everybody,
I uploaded the ToH 3.2+ Hot 1.5c into my 5400z. I just would like to know HOW to use the EMU to see the french PPV channels (eurosport french, Multivisions, etc....) without my FUN card, if it's possible.....
I am complety lost and most of the threads are not in English !!!

Instal in your PC program "DSR 9500 EMU Ed27D for Humax".
Open actually keys file " Ram.bin" , setup Com port...
ON reciever !
Send to file in your Humax 5400, (patch HoT 1,5c)
Setup menu ToH in your Humax (down line) kurzor L, R to "EMU" (Fun card must be in slot !)
OFF recciever to standby.
On recciever and picture clear...

I did exactly what you said,BUT (there is always a "but"....) i still need to have my card in the slot. When i set EMU, the receiver writes "Audio cryted....". When i go back to "card", it's good. What's missing ???????????

I have same exact problem but with hot3.3 , I made the update and downloaded the latest key file but it works only when casid=card and not on EMU+CARD! Any idea how I can fix this?

(new algo don´t...)

Bob,
It is not working when I choose EMU+Card, only When I choose Card form the config menu some channels work. I am suspecting that the keys are not being loaded to the receiver. These are the data of my reciever Hmax 5400, h/w version oak I&II 2.1
s/w Version HIC1.05.00+
Device Driver Version HIC>1.05.00+
S/W last update 4 Mar 2002
Loader L2.ff
System id fff.ffff

Any advise on what is wrong?

1. Install new firmware ToH3.3_HoT2.0.1 ORF bug fixed

lokk it in page http://www.croteam-sat.org/aploud/index.php
dir Humax
2. install PMCT (PMC Edit ToH 20, in page...)

3. install key.bin ( program Edit is heer: http://satforum.cz/attachment.php?attachmentid=401 )

4. Insert your card in slot H5400, set Toh menu EMU+K, off STB to Standby - button front panel - On STB and picture is clear.

Bob,
I did exactly this but still does not work. I suspect may be:
1- I use windows 2000, I read that DSR program may have problem with this?
2- my Antenna definition in receiver is hotbird=3 while may be PMCT requires different?
3-When I look at the latest PMCT file I do not see any entry for POLSAT.
I appreciate if you have any suggestions.

Humax "ON", kabel RS232 switch PC-Humax. Card insert in slot (Card must be "Accepted"). ToH menu - setup EMU+Card.

Setup DSR emuEdit 3,9:
1. oppen program DSR emu edit 3,9.
2. goto in window button "?" - klick L mouse button "?"
3. Setup typ STB "HUMAX def"
4. Setup PC type: default = for normal PC
fast = for very quick PC
slow = for slowly PC
5. COM port - setup your COM port number for kabel RS232 PC-Humax
6. FW check - OFF
7. verify from Box - OFF

8. Goto in FILE - oppen file "RAM.BIN"
(wait please cca 15 sec.)
9. If keys number in window, klick "write"
10. 1x "OFF" Humax - (button Standby in front panel)
(keys Save)
11. "ON" Humax, picture is clear...

Oppen PMC Table editor.
Rewrite antene number for all canal Hot Bird nr. 3.

Polsat nagra working all chanels, if write manualy in Ram.bin correct keys 00 or 01.
Now don´t autoupdate...

I know all these steps 1-11 and I did them exactly except PMC table editing. May be this is the problem.
1- you are sure DSR works with Windows 2000? How can I verify keys copied to receiver?
2- I have editor program PMC-EDIT-ToH20 ver 1.0.0.22. Does it work with TOH3.3?
3-You told me that I have to change Antenna on the PMCT file to 3 but what file PMC table should I use and should have all the hotbird channels: TPS/Polsat/Swiss/Multivision... Can you attach the right file please? I will then open in with editor and change the antenna number if it is not 3, right?

فضلا اتبع الخطوات التاليةك
1- قم باعادة انزال الباتش 3.3 مرة اخري
2- من القائمة اختر emu +s+card
3- اخرج من القائمة واضغط علي الصفر وزر الذي علية علامة الاستفهام
4 - بمشئة الله سوف تري ان الكامة اصدرت امر الموافقة
5- ويجبان تتاكد ان نزلت برنامج dsr9500v3او الاعلي منه مستخما المفتاح وهو متوفر علي الشبكة باسم key.bin

After updating the keys and reading back from Hummy - everything ok.

But after setting Hummy into standby and on again, then reading the keys - no keys in Hummys memory!!!

Happens again and again, new setting does not help.


What is it and what to do?
