hello,

my friend has a radegast server on his linux pc with canal plus card

how must a config the radegast.cfg

i have do this

net share 1 = www.xxxx.xxxx.nl:2904:rdgd:
net share 2 = www.xxxx.xxxx.nl:2905:rdgd:

but stil black

can somebody help me

i read youre message on te board and I tryed this option and a also downloaded your radegast.cfg but nothing happens is there something els i must do start radegast on kathrein wat must i do with kolofas?

Hi,

In NEWCAMD protocol ,You must to replace server host name to IP.
For example:

net shares = 2

net share 1 = 10.00.00.00:12345:2:user1ass2:01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
net share 2 = 10.00.00.00:12345:2:user1ass2:01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14


10.00.00.00=Type IP
12345=Type port
2=newcamd protocol (live it, and don't type anythink....) ; 1=radegast
user1: type your user name
pass2: type your password

I tried to replace the domainname for the ipnumber but no result

ppfff this is not like a dreambox or reelbox that two recievers i have here also without no problems to connect to the server.

yes u must use radegast with kofola ... (kofola --> rdgd ---> your card sercer)

use addon with kofola+radegast

i gues i use kolofa if i open the webinterface i see client is kolofa must i do something else than?
kolofas conf 127.0.0.1 port=777

no, kofola is connecting only to local host at rdgd port, but kofola know direct connect at one radegast server

try

kolofas conf www.xxxx.xxxx.nl port=2904
but work ONLY sharing (no EMU)

I have done everithing you al told here but still black on the channels i dont know what to do now. And i must share on an externel server with mgcam on my dreambox it is ver ease and on my reelbox also maybe later for the kathrein also.

Is it difficult to register an account??? It is a very good forum and a brilliant guide to get your Kathrein work with both local and non local cs servers...

It is no difference between a local or a non local cs server. Probably IP/DNS,username,password,3DES or port number problems...
