USBtoR232Adapter pl2303 on DM800

Hy,

i am trying to get my usb-adapter pl2303 to work on my dm800...

i have gemini3.7 installed.. i allready installed the kernel-module-pl2303 as a ipk package... but when i reboot with my usb-adapter pluged-in, i cant see any device in /dev, which could be the right one....

do i have to configure my kernel after installing this module.. if so where??
please help me getting this usb-adapter to work.. i saw some people here have allready configured there receivers with usb-adapters...
