How to make freextv work under radegast-gutan

Hey all

How to make freextv work under radegast-gutan

All the other have forgot to make a emu.xml list and put in freextv in.

So here are my change in the emu list

copy my files i have make the in the catalog freextv.zip unzip the file and the and put then in var in the dreambox

The are var/bin ( freextv )
The are var/tuxbox/config ( emu.xml )

After that you have to make at telnet connection

login = root
password = dreambox

cd var/bin ( enter )
chmod 755 fteextv ( enter )

Reboot the dreambox

go to hotbird freextv

push on the blue booten on your remoute box and the freextv are on last of the emu list.

I dont think so becource the are more Emus in radegast and gutan.
I wil work a new list for SF version

I have work whet the problems in SF version and i can not get freextv whet the driver freextv.

Freextv can i put in the emu list.

But the driver will not work in var/bin in SF version.

I see other also have tried to get it work.
And the have the same problems.

Thanks for the effort Fetish on the SF img. sadly as you say it will not work and I like the SF img far to much to change it for FreeXtv regards

Copy freextv to var/bin, copy newcamd_5.cfg and newcamd_5.so,freextv_6.so,freextv_6.cfg,shell5,she ll6 to var/share/plugins/,chmod 755 all.

Try eventually to put this line in file shell6, before line that launches freextv :

.......

rm /tmp/newcamd.pid

/var/bin/freextv 0xFA1 &

exit;


Push yellow button and start freextv plugin, for restore newcamd start newcamd plugin and reset emu.

Is this how shell 6 should read guys and is it on Hotbird or Astra or both that you now have colours for freeXtv?
