I´ve flashed a 3rd time...and now it works

No there is no other file necassary.

this is how it worked for me:

- erase the box via hyperterminal
- flash 3 times the same image
- done

sorry for asking, but can I use the usb stick for updating on the new image.
At the moment I am using the first SF Team Image.

What does that mean flashing 3x times?

Run Hyperterminal, connect to UFS with serial Cable. (Speed: 115200 and Flow-Control: Off)

Turn power on UFS off / on and quick press CTRL+Z on PC

now type:

erase A0200000 A029ffff
erase A02A0000 A04Dffff
erase A04E0000 A0Adffff
erase A0C00000 A0ffffff

strg + c is not needed just press any key u like in the first 1-2 seconds when starting ufs.

Then u arrivin uboot where u can erase the blocks as shown in post above.
Attention don't mistype the lines.

That will require that SF Team shares info with mixvt.
Is that something that we can expect ??

You are wrong. May be you missed initial work from Kofola group.
They are real ones who made Katy hack possible and make radegast-like
client to show "how to do".

More likely SFteam even don't have access to such info.
You can see that they did very nice job moving original
(hackish) image to something more usable, but they still
use kofola's client to get emu working.

But don't worry, I think other emus come very soon as
if you look on kofola binary, it is done very simple, so
anybody can learn how to use demuxes from it very easy

I notice, that after using the new SF image (6.7.2007) the remote control unit is not working like before (much more slowly, as origin FW 1.02). can somebody this confirm?
