Hi,

Can anyone give an estimate whether (and when) there will be a MECM$60 capable emu available for use on the UFS-910?
I currently use a Ferguson 8800 HD for which a modified firmware with CCCAMD (with MECM$60 support) is available. I also have the UFS-910 (purchased it some days before the Ferguson) and was already about to sell it on ebay. But now when an alternative image has been made available, I tend to believe that there will be a suitable emu solution as well sooner or later. Since the UFS-910 is the much better device compared to the Ferguson, I would like to keep it, but only if there are chances to get a MECM$60 emu in the nearer future.
TIA!
Lets gather some money and send a Kathrein UFS-910 to the Mgcamd developers, would not take long to get the best emu for it then.
If radegast can run on it, anything can
hi
and the rdgd works with konnect
to my MPCS cardserver
so i kant share my arena tividi card to the UFS 910
nise work
mfg
Will be possible in the future to start the gbox on this box ??
That is pretty interesting. Can you please give me a short instruction where to get the required files and how to install it into the image? I'm familiar how to use a FTP program to access the file system, but never heared about or dealt with Radegast.
If it makes any difference: I don't need any card sharing/card server solution or anything else "external". Just want to run a MECM60-capable EMU and keyfile in the box.
If you (or anyone else) can guide me a little, or point to any other thread where this is already explained for the UFS-910, that would be very nice.
Many thanks in advance.
@TQuest: You might be right. Actually I really don't know which emu is in that Ferguson 8800 image. Basically you just need to push a SoftCam.key file onto the box, and you're done.
If it's a little more complicated to accomplish the same with the UFS-910, I would have no problem with that. As long as it works at all.
Quest might not be right - he is right!
It´s definitly NOT the cccam.
Nearly every Receiver that´s not based on linux uses the softcam.key als keyfile.
How to install radegast in the SF-image?!
simply load the addon to /usr/local/etc
reboot the box by pressing the power-button no the remote control
radegast is now installed and ready to use!
If you need to update the keyfile take the litte updater which you can find here in this section!
Where do I find this addon?
Found that tool. I won't be able to make any use of it because I will not have my UFS-910 connected to the internet for some days (just moved to a new home and do not yet have DSL). But shouldn't be a problem; I can upload the key file manually. If you need to update the keyfile take the litte updater which you can find here in this section!
Thanks!
Can you (or anyone else) please point me to a location of the required addon?
TIA!
Thanks alot. Didn't realized that this was the Radegast addon.
Now I have a different problem. Could someone please check whether the file on rapidshare is still ok? I just downloaded it, but the filesize of the RAR is only approx. 2.4MB. When opening/extracting it, I get a CRC error.
It might be that the problem is on my side since I'm using a UMTS connection right now, but normally I have no problems downloading files via UMTS.
edit: Forget about that. I had RS direct download activated. Once I disabled it and selected a RS download server manually, the full file (9.6MB) is being downloaded. Don't know why this made a difference, but it worked.
