First question. The newest firmware should be installed with setup_basic from older one or doesn't?

When can I find an info about options displayed on the LCD during booting? The previous has radegast as 3th option. Why?
Why radegast can not be in soft run from 1th option on LCD.

If I call menu from blue button the turned off hdd is starting. Is it nessesary? Mayby shoud I buy the CF module ?
The same emu menu ( ls or dir menu) very often is hidden by wrong clean display with rest of chanel picture.
Calling it is not to easy too. Many pressing of OK button is needed.

Yes, setup_basic_1606 and setup_tar_2506.

Hi,
1.
I bought CF 256MB yesterday. I used it instead of HD. It was ready without formating (? I tried format but without success).
I copied add on to /hdd - it was correct.
After restarting dreambox the add was removed from /hdd - correct but the /hdd was empty - no /locals subdir on it.
What I am doing wrong?

I repeated all without CF but with HD. The /locals was created with files in it.

I tested it with HD. I found matrix module on HD but it was not in emu menu. What is used in this option ? Flash or data stored on HD?
The radegast on HD is not the same like file in flash!

What can I do with this option?

I tried to start my s2 card in slots up and down with using radegast module in enigma and enigma hd mode.
No success. The card was inserted correct. Where is problem?

Sath*ck/ Is Cry***works supproted in this image into slots? Is I remember (maybe wrongly) in the previous releases I could watch Digiturk card in the slots . Now I can't watch

I've got a problem with SF Team IMG 25.06, it only displays the free channels, and the encryted channels, including Via D****** and Nagr******, dont work!!!! Why is that happening? I'm I installing the firmware the wrong way??? Help me out!! Thanks!!

If your dreambox has internet connection,
go to blue button,
emu menu,
7 internet key update,
thats it

Thanks for the reply! But i already did that and it still doesn't work! Is there any other problem that could make this happen!?
The keys are correct, but the channels don't open!
Is there a chance that i could do something trough my FTP

I have installed the latest image and also i have added the setup_basic_1606 to my root HDD directory but can anyone tell if I should also use the setup_tar_2506.?? and where should i put it?? which directory???

1.setup_basic.zip unzip in setup.tar.bz2.
2.ftp - setup.tar.bz2 in /hdd
3.reboot DB

JirkaS, I read, you are using CF flash.
Are you using hard disc too?
How to add /dev/ide/ ...
for the second ide device? Firmware is not detecting secondary drive. Could you help?

Radegast has a bug in function of supporting s2 i v2 cards. Mayby crypto is in the same function?
